We need extra hands at Beauly Community Council and are keen to co-opt some members at our next Community Council meeting in May. We’ve recently lost our Secretary, as well as our Chair, so we have some specific gaps to fill. We need people who are willing to be active members of the community council and especially those who have secretarial, admin and digital communication skills. Good organisational skills, experience of chairing meetings and/or knowledge of the planning system would also be great assets. We are looking to fill three places, the maximum allowed under the CC Scheme of Delegation.
We’d be happy to have a chat about what’s involved including specific duties and the time commitment. Just e-mail us at info@beaulycc.org or speak to one of the community councillors, our details are on this Beauly CC website, click here >> Members Contact info
We’re particularly keen to get younger members of the community involved
Anybody over the age of 16 who lives in the Beauly CC area and is on the electoral register, is eligible to stand.
Beauly Community Council meets on the first Monday of each month (except July and December) and the next meeting is on Monday 26th May at the slightly earlier than usual time of 6pm in the Phipps Institute.
